SwannView Plus is one such app which controls workings of IP cams that are manufactured by Swann Security. With this application, you can view your cameras live or playback them. All you have to do is to configure cam with the app. Moreover, make sure that your device is connected to a stable and working internet connection. SwannView Plus app also works on mobile networks and public hotspots. It means you can view a video of the cam from any part of the world.

How to Configure Cam with SwannView Plus

The method for cam configuration is very simple. First of all, you need to make an account on Swann Security. Become a registered user by entering your password, username and email address. Now add information about DVRs. You have to enter details such as Device Name, Device ID, Port Number, Login Type, Username and Password. After adding the correct info, now you will see live HD view of cam easily.

Video Playback and Recording

The best part about this application is that it records all live videos of the cam. All videos are stored in the internal memory of the device. But you can store them in the cloud storage of Swann Security as well. Play these videos anytime or anywhere you want to. Moreover, with its Playback feature, you can watch previous videos of the cam as well. Both live and recorded videos can be viewed in the landscape as well portrait mode. Furthermore, you can also take screenshots, listen to the audio and get options for zoom in and zoom out.

(Important Notice): This application support limited Swann Models. This application controls the working of DVR/NVR according to the number of channels supported. You can manage cam videos for DVR such as DVRx-1500, DVRx-1525, DVRx-1550, DVRx-1575, DVRx-4300, DVRx-4350, DVRx-4500, DVRx-8050, HDRx-8050, DVRx-8075, HDR8-8200, NVR4-7000, NVRx-7200, NVRx-7250, NVRx-7090, NVRx-7095.

If you like using the SwannView Plus application on your Smartphone. And want to use its features on your Windows and Mac device then you need to download SwannView Plus for PC. It is not officially available for PC devices. But with the help of Android Emulators, you can run SwannView Plus for PC on both Mac and Windows Devices. Below are the instructions on how to install SwannView Plus on PC running Windows 7, 8, 10, Mac and Mac OS X for free.

How to Install SwannView Plus for Windows 10, 8, 7 and Mac OS X

As I have told you that SwannView Plus App works on PC with the help of an Android Emulator. So first, download Nox App Player or BlueStacks. Both emulators are available for Windows as well as Mac.

Install Nox or BlueStacks on PC by following on-screen instructions.
Once installed, Setup the player if needed.
After this, you will see the main home screen of the emulator.
Now find and locate Play Store App in the emulator.
Enter Google Account in order to activate Play Store services.
After that, click on Google Play Store search, write SwannView Plus and press enter key.
From search results, select the app. Click Install and then Accept Installation.
